Samsung I5800 Galaxy 3 Review

Samsung I5800 Galaxy 3 is another member of Samsung Galaxy family. Like the other Galaxy phones this one has also got the Android Operating System. It has been launched around the globe. The phone launched in India in July 2010. In the first site the phone looks good. What's Inside the phone. Let's take a close look at it's features and it's performance.

Pocket Sized: Phone's length is 113.5mm and it's 55mm wide. It's thickness is just 12.9mm, so it can easily fit in your pocket. It's lightweight too. It weighs just 109 grams

Screen: The size of the screen is 3.2 inches. The Screen resolution 240x400 is not enough for a phone having screen of 3.2 inches. It's legibility in the sunlight was bad.

Sound Quality: The phone has decent sound quality. Inbuilt speakers lag a bit when the volume is full. Bundled headphones are good. We were very pleased by the sound quality of the bundled headphones. The phone has also got a 3.5mm audio jack.

Memory: The phone has got 256MB of RAM. It has 512MB of ROM. You can expand phone's storage via microSD card slot. You can expand it upto 32GB. 1GB card is bundled with the phone

Camera: Phone has 3.15 MegaPixel Camera. The phone doesn't have a secondary camera. The Camera can click pictures of 2048x1536 pixels. It has features like autofocus, Geo-tagging, face and smile detection. It can record videos @15fps which we think is poor.

Inside: The phone runs Android Operating System. It has Android 2.1 Eclair which is upgaradble to Android 2.2 FroYo. The phone has got 667 MHz processor. The Phone hasn't got the GPS navigation.

Price: The phone's priced at Rs.16000 which we think is a bit high for this phone. In this range you can look for HTC Wildfire or Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 mini pro.

If the price tag on the phone is around Rs.13500-14000 then you can definitely think about it. But still we don't recommend this phone.
