Acer Liquid Mini hits the Indian Markets first, Priced at Rs.11,990

The Acer Liquid Mini has been officially announced in India. This phone was showed off in the first Month at CES 2011. We didn’t got any news about the launch of this device in any other country. So it seems that India is first to get this device. This is a low-cost Android phone as the price of the phone shows that. The official price of this phone is Rs.11,990. If we are not wrong then you can see this phone competing with other brands like LG, Samsung, Spice and Micromax. 3G is enabled in this device and it supports 7.2 Mbps HSDPA. And not that much, it has got Android Froyo, so this is already a step ahead than Spice’s MI – 300.

Taking a look at the spec sheet, phone has got ARM 11 processor of 600MHz and Adreno 200 GPU which is the part of Qualcomm MSM7227 chipset. The screen resolution looks decent 360x640px on a 3.2 inch display. So that’s quite good.  It has got 512 MB of RAM and TOM and you get 2GB microSD card bundled.

It has got a 5MP camera, Wi-Fi b/g with DLNA and Wi-Fi hotspot technology, Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR and A2DP, stereo FM radio with RDS, and a 1,300 mAh Lithium-ion battery that is rated to deliver up to 400 hours of standby time, and, up to 8 hours of talktime and GPS and A-GPS support. It has also got an inbuild document reader.

Well after taking a deep look on the specs of the phone it seems that it will compete with low cost Android phones like Samsung Galaxy Fit. But still we cant predict much. It’s you who is going to decide what you want from your Android.
