Cyanogen Mod 7.0 has arrived!



If you are an Android user and you are really desperate about the next update of your software and you are not happy with the features of your phone, we have got CyanogenMod (CM from now) for you. CyanogenMod 7.0 has released and it’s all set to come into your devices. This is the final version which was released after many months of work.


CM 7 is based on Android 2.3.3 and now devices like B&N Nook Color and Viewsonic G tablet are also there in the list. Currently, thuis version is working on 30 devices; all of them are supported in this release.
Well the Cyanogen guys haven’t stopped their work as usual. There’s also an issue tracker published so you can take a look at it if you are interested; it’s available on Cyanogen group on Google. The best way to install CM 7 on your phone is by using a ROM manager and you will find all info about rooting your device in Cyanogen’s Wiki page. If you are upgrading from the previous version of Cyanogen i.e. CM 6, its advised that you make a backup first.
