A good amount of leaks of Blackberry Phones jumped out in the last few days. In this leak list BlackBerry Bold Touch was also there. In the leaked images we saw that the phone will come up with Blackberry 6.1 OS. Well this phone is all set for an official announcement and we have got news regarding its OS.
Jim balsille, co-CEO of RIM confirmed that Blackberry OS 6.1 will be renamed as Blackberry OS 7.0. The new Blackberry Devices which will launch next week will be running on this new OS, early which was supposed to be called as Highlander and it was expected that the new OS will come with some QNX features next year.
But blackberry has made his mind and has renamed 6.1 to 7.0. So, wait for the Highlander still continues and this might make you to wait till the launch of the next OS, maybe BB OS 8.0 with QNX features. Well you never know when you are talking about the Blackberry.
The update will bring 720p video recording feature for all the previous Blackberry Phones like Torch and will also have voice activated universal search and a better software keyboard.
Well if you talk about the fight, Windows Phone 7 and BB OS 7 are looking head to head. We still need to wait for iOS 7 and Android 7 OS’s. Otherwise while comparing the numbers it would have more fun.
