There’s no other way to say this: Wow. Apple has just issued a press release saying that they’ve sold over 4 million units of the iPhone 4S just 3 days after launching it. On top of that, 25 million people upgraded to iOS 5 in the same time period. Note that the 4 million figure could have been much higher if Apple launched the iPhone 4S in more countries. As of today you can pick up an iPhone 4S in the US, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, and the UK. On the 28th of this month that list will grow by 22 more countries, and by the end of this year Apple hopes to have the iPhone 4S on sale in more than 70 countries.
