First Impressions of Samsung Series 5 Boost
The Display size of the Series 5 Boost will be 15” inch and
17” inch. The resolution of the display is 1600 x 900 pixels. Samsung says that
it’s a non-reflective screen which will produce cleaner pictures and visuals.
The brightness levels won’t harm the eye of the user. Though the brightness level
hasn’t been considered, the brightness level can be raised up to 300 nits.
The Series 5 Boost will ship with either a core i5 or core
i7 Ivy bridge processors. The choice is up to the user. The graphics are
powered by the latest hybrid graphics processing units of the US-based Nvidia. The
GPU will raise the performance of the laptop by 112%. The laptop will also come
with Intel’s integrated graphics. The user will be able to switch between the
integrated and high-performance graphics. This will result in the power
consumption. Hard drive of one terabyte will come with this one. So you have a
lot amount of space for storing your data.
As we said it’s a complete multimedia solution. Series 5 Boost
comes with 2 JBL surround stereo speakers with a subwoofer. This will enhance
the audio output while hearing music and watching movies. Samsung’s “Alive”
audio software will provide 3D surround sound which will take the sound levels
to a different level.
We do not have any information regarding the price of the
Samsung Series 5 Boost. We are expecting this one to be around $1100. If this
one is priced competitively in the market, it will definitely gain the
attraction of young audience out there.
