HTC Desire S comes with Qualcomm’s Scorpion processor of 1GHz. It has got a 3.7-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen, 5-megapixel camera that can take 720p HD video at 30 fps, front-facing VGA camera for video calls, HSPA and WiFi connectivity, GPS, an array of sensors and a memory card slot. The storage of this phone is also good. It has got 1.1 GB of internal storage and you can extend it upto 32 GB via microSD card slot.
The Desire S has unibody design with aluminum finish, weighs 130 g with 115 x 59.8 x 11.6 mm dimensions. The phone has a 3.7-inch full touch screen with S-LCD display (480 x 800 pixel resolution). The Gorilla Glass present in the screen makes it sturdy and scratch resistant. The various sensors included in the handset are G-sensor, Proximity sensor and Ambient light sensor.
The battery life of the phone is also good. You can talk upto 240 minutes with this phone. Stand-by time of this phone is around 120 hours. It has got a standard Li-Ion battery of 1450 mAH.
Desire S comes with four options to connect it to the internet i.e. GPRS, EDGE, WiFi and 3G. Other connectivity options are Bluetooth and microUSB port. Phone has also got a 3.5 mm audio Jack
