Nokia C7 ORO Gold edition can show its presence in some time.

In a special, so called “ORO” edition, Nokia C7 will soon be available. The name “ORO” comes from Italian for Gold, hinting us what this baby is all about. As you can imagine, we’re not talking about Average Joe’s next phone — rather it will be a device for the select few willing to pay a premium to have their mobile phone really stand out in the crowd.

The frame and the keys of the upcoming device will come covered in 18K gold, while the front keys will be made of scratch- resistant sapphire crystal. Adding more to it, the screen will be protected by the Gorilla Glass (just like on the original C7), while the phone’s back will be wrapped in real Bridge of Weir leather of the finest quality.

If you ask for the price, its $1635 and the first country to get this luxurious device is Russia.

Specs wise, the Nokia C7 ORO is the same as the original C7 – it’s a Symbian^3 smartphone with a 3.5-inch nHD (360×640 pixels) AMOLED touchscreen, HSPA and Wi-Fi connectivity, 8-megapixel camera, GPS, Bluetooth and a memory card slot.
