Next Generation Portable - The PlayStation Vita


The PlayStation Vita (PS-Vita), is an upcoming handheld game console developed by Sony Computer Entertainment. Its NGP (Next Generation Portable). The Brand new part of the PlayStation family of gaming devices. On 6th June 2011, Sony announced the name of the device would be PlayStation Vita. The name is chosen because "Vita" means "Life" in Latin & the portable itself enables a combination of augmented reality gaming and social connectivity, along with the 'Near' and 'Party' services exclusively for the device.

On 18 th February 2011, NG-Gamer reported that The PlayStation Vita will released at the End of year 2011 in the Japan & North America. It will release in European countries in the year 2012. Sony hopes to have produced enough units to release the handheld in February or March 2012. Check out its Screenshots:
