Evernote’s Android app has got a new update and this time it has got a lot more features than we expected. There are some major and minor improvements which has taken this step ahead of our thinking too…
Without talking more let’s see what are the new features included in this update.
• Notebooks: You wii be able to create new notebooks as well as to edit existing ones and then you can also share your notebooks directly through your Android phone. Moreover, Premium subscribers will also be able to store shared notebooks on their phone, so that they can watch them even if they are offline.We loved it.
• Now you will able to share your notes with your Facebook friends or Twitter followers or via Mail just by clicking on the share button. With the help of these social apps, now it’s easy to share your notes.
• This new update has provided the app with an ability to search within a notebook that you’re viewing at any given moment. Likewise, when you’re creating a new note, it will be placed in a notebook you’re currently in. So that’s cool too.
• Improved support for Notebook Stacks, allowing you to collapse stacks and hide notebooks you don’t need.
• Now you can also add location to your existing notes. By doing this you will be able to locate it on map provided in this app. This is very useful for trip planning as later on you will be able to quickly access “nearby” notes.
• Premium users now can lock their Evernote app with PIN lock feature. With the help of this you can block your app with help of a secret password. Whenever a user will open the app home widget will prompt him/her to enter the PIN (Password) for getting the access to the app.
• The interface has improved and now it looks very decent.
Guys behind evernote are also saying that this version has fixed a lot of bugs which were present in the previous version and this one will really give lots of ease to an Android user.
