Well we haven't got 1.2 GHz Exynos powered phone i.e Samsung Galaxy S II in our hands and Samsung have already started a new project. They have tightened their belts and have started working on a 2 GHz Exynos processor. According to sources Samsung will launch this processor in the next year. Rather than this no other info has been revealed yet.
Samsung is not going to keep this processor just to their own devices. They are planning to sell this one to other phone manufacturers also. So that’s a good sign. You might be able to get this processor from your favorite manufacturer next year.
Nvidia is already working on a Quad Core processor and it seems that Samsung has got the same plans in their bucket along with 2 GHz Exynos. This shows that other than any computing device, Smart phones are getting more hardware upgrades these days. Whether this is a good move or not, but we are not going to replace our notebook with these smart phones.
Mobile manufacturers are targeting the "Speed", and it works also. People go out, throw their old phones and buy new. But this is not going to make such a difference until mobile carriers don't provide good data speed at low costs and with good features too.
