Updates already started to jump out, but major steps just started coming up. The EVO series phones on Sprint have started getting updates which is healing the bug which affected the privacy of the user. These updates are small in size (around 10 MB’s each) and one update targets an exclusive vulnerability.
Well the other Android Devices will get this fix as a part of the next OS update. Today, Verizon rolled out an update which will enable users to read docs on the phone. Nothing about security was said above. But in the release notes you will also find about the security fix.
We can’t confirm that this security fix has started reaching all the devices but we can assure you that HTC is taking this one pretty seriously. After all, who wants to get dumped after gaining so much reputation in the market and that too because of Android Devices. We are hoping that this fix will get distributed all round the globe by the next month.
