Apple’s Ipod touch has become a revolutionary product in the market. Since 2007 it has made it's place in HOT Seller's category; GEEK’s, Technology enthugistic and Apple FanBoys grabbed it as they got a chance. The iPod Touch proved to be a MicroPC. So far Apple has been succeesful to maintain the Status of Ipod Touch in the market with the release of newer versions every year. People who couldn’t afford to buy the iPhone ($800) were now having the alternative to buy iPod Touch to fulfill their Touch hunger. On 1st September; Steve Jobs released the latest version of the iPod Touch which looks good to us.

Apple made major additions to the new ipod touch.
Thinness :
After comparing it to the previous versions of the ipod touch, an astonishing observation was found. Apple has made it even thinner than the older generations. The previous Ipod Touch was about 8.5mm thick while this one is about 7.2mm thin. So It has more compact and lightweight now.
A4 Chip:
This is the new chip that Apple used for their processor which runs at the clock speed of 1GHz (The same as the iphone4). This will help the applications to run fast and smooth compairing to the Previous version.
The Display:
RETINA DISPLAY! After the iphone4 comes directly to ipod touch. The resolution of the new baby is 960 x 720 that is 4 times of the previous generations. However the screen size has been kept same so you can enjoy maximum pixels closer to each other increasing the clearity of the display. This makes the pixels so closer that it is even difficult to identify single pixel by single eye.
Camera:
Apple introduced this unexpected feature for Portable Media Players. The first apple ipod with camera with it. Not just one, but two. Yes, the front and rear camera. The camera specifications are also astonishing. The camera can snap still pics at the resolution of 960X720 the same as iphone4 but only at 0.7mp!!. While it can record videos in HD! 720p This amazing feature if updated will break down the demands of camcorder and digital camera.
While the front camera is used for FaceTime. Directly after the iphone4 the gadget to own this is ipod touch. You can directly video call your frnd or relative via the Facetime using WiFi.
The Look:
The slim yet powerful look makes people attract towards it. The curvy edges and the white back makes it look cool. The apple logo behind makes a good show-off.
