HTC has got wide variety of phones in its stock. After the release of Android OS v2.1 big giants of the smartphone market like Samsung, Sony Ericsson and even HTC have adopted Android.
But this time it isn't Android. HTC HD Mini Comes with Windows Mobile Platform. Let's take a look what this can do.

HTC HD Mini. The name itself suggests that this phone is the mini version of HTC HD. The phone look pretty good. Its Palm Sized (Dimensions: 103.8 x 57.7 x 11.7 mm). It has got a capacitive touchscreen of 3.2 inches. The Screen resolution is of 320 x 480 pixels which is pretty decent.

The Sound Quality of the phone is excellent. The In-built Speakers works absolutely fine. We will give 4.5/5 for speaker quality. The bundled headphones are also good. Same rating for the headphones as well. By the way the phone has got a 3.5mm audio jack. So you can plug-in any better headphones you have.

The phone has got 512 MB of ROM. You can extend the Storage of the phone upto 32 GB via microSD Card Slot. It has got a Qualcomm MSM7227 600 MHz CPU and 384MB of  RAM. This is quite good for the phone.

The phone has got a 5 MegaPixel Camera. We took some still pictures from the phone and the result we got was decent. You can't expect more from a phone's camera. Secondary camera isn't present in the phone. If you are thinking that you can record HD videos from the phone then you are wrong. You can only record simple videos.

As we said earlier the phone has got Windows Mobile Operating System v6.5.3 Professional. It also comes with Opera 9.5 Web Browser. The Browsing experience was very good. It's easy to browse a Google map as it gives Multi Touch Support. MS Office Mobile document editor comes with the phone.
The Phone has also got A-GPS Support.

Coming Upto the Price. In India HTC HD Mini is priced at Rs.23,490 which is very high. In this price range you will get some better Android Phones. But if you are one of the Windows Mobile lovers then you can definitely give HD mini a try.
