HTC has came up with a variety of smartphones in the market. If you still believe that HTC isn't a good buy, then we would say that HTC has really improved it's standards. Don't look at the past, that HTC Touch Pro. At Present HTC with Android is really going forward. These phones are really making their mark in the market. You just can't stop yourself to spend your buck for a HTC Android Phone.
After the launch of HTC Wildfire the expectations from HTC were quite high.

HTC Desire has got looks like HTC Google Nexus One. The Thing which it misses is a metallic body. The Phone is thin and fits into the pocket nicely (Dimensions: 119 x 60 x 11.9 mm). The weight of the phone is 135grams.
It has got an AMOLED capacitive tochscreen of 3.7 inches. It works perfectly. The response was excellent. No problems at all.
The Sound Quality of Desire is great. You Can Compare sound of this with Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10. On the earphones the Quality is even better than XPERIA X10. It has got a 3.5mm audio jack. The Music Player of the phone has got "Cover Flow" interface.
The Phone has got 576MB of RAM and 512MB of ROM. The phone can Sore Upto 32 GB of music, apps, videos and whatever you want via microSD Card Slot. A 4GB microSD Card is bundled with the phone.
Desire is having a 5 MegaPixel Camera with LED Flash. We tested it's camera by taking some shots and we were impressed by the quality we got in still pictures. The Video recording in the phone isn't that good. But after upgrading the Android 2.1 to Android 2.2 you can record HD videos (720p @ 30fps). It doesn't have a secondary camera.
It has got Android OS v2.1 Eclair which is upgradeable to Android OS v2.2 FroYo. The Phone has got a Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8250 processor of 1 GHz. With 576MB of RAM. There's No Problem in using any type of application or multitasking.
Data Services in the phone: It has Got Class 10 GPRS and EDGE. 3G - 7.2 Mbps HSDPA and 2 Mbps HSUPA. It has got v2.1 Bluetooth with A2DP. Wi-fi(802.11 b/g) is also there in the phone.
Extras: The Phone has got GPS, Stereo FM with RDS, Music Player, Video Player, few Games and Facebook, Twitter and MySpace Applications.
In India The Phone is Priced Around Rs.28,500 which we think is great. It gives competition to Samsung Galaxy S - I9000.
Recently HTC has announced Desire HD and Desire z. Those who want to wait to see what comes with Desire HD and z can wait. But we will say, If you have bucks then Go For It!
