FIFA 11 (PC) - Full Review

After the faliure of previous versions of FIFA series, (i.e FIFA 09, FIFA 10) Electronic Arts have come back strongly this time with the release of FIFA 11. FIFA 11 has now become the most popular soccer game ever. More than 15 million copies have been sold out. We grabbed our copy too for PC and here's a detailed review about FIFA 11 from our side.

It took very less time to load, we created our profile and as we launched our profile we saw the new feature of FIFA 11 the Pro camera. Pro camera focused on Kaka and Cech waiting for Kaka in front of the nets. We liked this very much. Let's take a look at some new Features and Gameplay.

Features:

Finally the Virtual Pro makes it to the PC version. In Virtual Pro you can create your own player, can make him of any type. You can tweak down to the minute details of the player. Well if you ever wanted to play for favorite football club team. FIFA 11's Virtual Pro gives you this chance. All you need to do is upload your photo online and they'll do the rest. They will create your player and you are all set to drag yourself in the stadium, playing with your favorite football stars as their team mate.

The English Commentary of Martin Tyler and Andy Gray is repetitive and not much inventive. If we talk about Graphics and Design Pro Evolution Soccer still leads. EA needs to work a lot on this.

Gameplay:

The gameplay in FIFA 11 has improved a lot. Player Moves, Through Passing and Crossing were absolutely perfect. It felt great to move the player around with the ball. A lot of originality has been brought in Dribbling and controlling the ball all over. The Legendary Difficulty Level of the CPU became difficult for us to crack. It took around 7 - 8 games for us to crack to the Legendary level of the game.

Now let's talk about the Online and Offline modes of FIFA 11.

Offline Modes:

You can start off playing with an exhibition match against CPU. You can play different kinds of tournaments. Be-a-Pro Mode has moved a step further. Now it offers the alternate player-locked game play. Now you can also play as a Goalkeeper. Sound's interesting. But we were bored after playing a few matches as a goalkeeper. Be-a-Pro: Seasons Mode allows you to go through the season with your favorite player. As usual you can always create your own player. The training mode has improved though it doesn't lets you to change the team. Well the manager mode is still the same, no improvements. You still can't compare FIFA's Manager Mode with Pro Evolution Soccer's Master League. The reality for which we've been looking for is still missing.

Online Modes:

This time FIFA 11 allows 5 vs 5 in online matches. (For Consoles it's even better 11 vs 11). In Head-to-head game mode you can play ranked/unranked 1 vs 1 game. You can either let the game choose a match for you or you can also play with your friends online. It's very easy to play a match online. You can host and join the game very easily. When we hosted a game online, we got sudden response from the other players online. Around 8 people joined our 5 vs 5 room just in 20 seconds. One of the best features we liked about the Online Mode was LAN Multiplayer mode. Unlike the previous versions in which we were restricted to 1 vs 1 match, now in FIFA 11 we can play 5 vs 5 matches on LAN.

As a Simulation game, FIFA still needs to improve a bit. But this is the best and the toughest FIFA yet.
