Adobe to connect with iOS, Android and Playbook Tablets with its Touch SDK

Color Lava

A few weeks ago we saw a video on the internet that Photoshop is coming on the iPad. But according to adobe this will not be just to iPad. It will come on all platforms i.e. Blackberry Playbook, iOS and Android devices. For demonstrating the SDK’s capability Adobe has announced a few apps namely, Color Lava, Eazel and Nav.
Eazel

These apps will be available from the month of May. With color you can mix-up the colors and then you can send it to Photoshop. Eazel has got a bit more features, which allows users to paint pictures on their tablets and send them to the desktop for more customizations. Nav is like companion app. It allows you to set up a bunch of easily-accessible shortcuts which. When you tap on your tablet it will open up an appropriate application on your desktop. According to adobe, you will be able to share pictures more quickly over a Wi-Fi.

We are not that confident that it will not replace desktop applications as the fingers are thick and artists will find it difficult to move their hands on it. But if gets a pen accessory like HTC Flyer then it might attract the artists towards it. Tablets will also have to adapt USB to appeal to Photographers who always look out to see and edit their pictures from the tablet only.

 Nav

This is really a good step from Adobe. We really appreciate it. We will like to see them doing same for the Phones also. Watch all the apps in action in the video given below. If you want to give the Adobe Touch SDK a try, you can download it from here.
