Tablet 600 and Tablet 810 - Windows Tablets by Asus

Asus revealed a couple of tablets at the Computex 2012. The Tablet 600 and Tablet 810. Both the tablets are different from each other. The Tablet 600 is powered by an ARM processor whereas 810 is powered by an Intel Atom processor.







Asus Tablet 600


The Asus Tablet 600 is one of the first Windows 8 tablet with the battery-sipping ARM processor architecture. We have seen some brilliance from ARM in Android tablets and expect to perform similarly under these conditions also.

The Tablet 600 carries over the famed Transformer line of Asus Android tablets concept, having its own keyboard/battery dock, and has got the same screen size of 10.1" inches.

The Asus Tablet 600, however, is running Windows RT, which is Windows 8 OS made for ARM processor-based tablets. The tablet is powered by the Nvidia Tegra 3 processor and 2GB of RAM. It has got 32 GB of internal storage.The resolution of the display is of 1366x768 pixels. It has got the support of USB 2.0. The rear side of Asus Tablet 600 has got a camera of 8 Mega Pixels.

Asus Tablet 810


Asus Tablet 810 - a Windows 8 tablet looking like the Asus Transformer series, but with a 11.6-inch screen and powered by an Intel Atom processor.




Despite the Atom processor, the specs of Asus Tablet 810 is similar to Tablet 600. It is also loaded with  2GB of RAM. It also comes with an 8 MP camera on the rear side.

The display on the Asus Tablet 810 is an 11.6-inch Super IPS+ one with a resolution of 1366x768 pixels. The tablet comes with a dock with a hidden hinge design, a feature that hides the actual hinge when the dock is open. A Wacom dual-digitizer allows you to paint on the glass with both the pen and your fingers.
