Here we will be comparing these two cards over the VFM Issue!
As Both the monsters show equal performance so most of the people are confused thinking which Monster to get?.
The Green (GTX460) is the monster in the market. GTX460 is good option for mod-gamers and most of the gamers use it to run their so called heavy games on it. This card are within the budget of (13k-15k), so the matter of VFM occours naturally.
GTX460 is good in terms of performance, Overclocking the card may increase the performance, but in case if anybody don't want to over clock it manually some of the Factory OC'd versions are too available. Thank's to (Zotac GTX460 AMP) or (MSI GTX460 HAWK) but again this increases the price (won't fit in PT). Instead if manually overclocked the normal GTX460 versions will work and it will also save some of the money about 2-3k. But IF the OC part will arise we will suggest you to go for the RED!, HD5850 It will always give good performance. Also In terms of SLI-Crossfire. If compared HD5850 Crossfire gives way better performance than the SLI GTX460, but still the SLI has more scale i.e GTX460 scales @ 85% to 90% however the HD5850 scales to 75% to 85%.
Obviously if compared the HD5850 will give better performance then the GTX460 but the question of VFM will arise (here we wont be doing (SLI-CF). But as of now regarding the budget GTX460 gives the best PT. However if one wants to buy a card within a month should go for the GREEN!, but if anyone can wait for a more, the new 6*** series is going to be launched and then the prices of current cards will gradually decrease. But its no point in waiting till Jan-Feb, instead PT should go for normal GTX460 and OC(OverClock) it. As both perform the same. The point we have taken in this post is the PT(Price Tag).
