Sounds wired but its true! The Chinese developers have developed a device called as “Apple Peel 520” that adds Calling and SMS facilities to the iPod Touch. The device is just like the protective case for iPod Touch (made of rubber) which includes a 1200mAh battery, Sim Card holder & a dock connector. The only thing you have to do is, slide your iPod Touch into the device (like we do for Case) and power it ON!. The Device doesn’t support 3G, but is good for 2G calls and SMS’s. In order to get these facilities one should install a proper software given by the device.
NOTE : Your iPod Touch Must be Jailbreaked in order to use the software.
We recommend you to use it with iPod Touch 1G / 2G / 3G, the 4G was not supported some days ago as the JB was not out, however the JB for 4G is out and now 4G is also supported.
But we seriously suggest you to use it with earlier versions as there is no cut-out for the 4G camera! Also the 4G costs lot more than the earlier versions, so it would be sense in buying a good phone instead! :D
Apple Peel 520 costs around 119$ in USA, the pre-order is available. However the “GO SOLAR USA” is also going to bring it in the US markets. We hope it costs less.
