We Got our Eyes on this Symbian^3 OS phone when we were looking for Nokia N8 in the stores yesterday. We Will Tell you more about Nokia N8 in the upcoming posts. The Specs printed on the box amazed us and we grabbed this for a review. Let's take a look what all you get with Nokia C7.
We were amazed by the looks of the phone. The phone has got a fine glossy finish. It has got a 3.5 inch touch screen and the three standard buttons (receive, menu, end call) buttons are just below the phone. On the back of the phone you can see the two speakers and a camera and Flash in between. Phone fits in your palms nicely (Dimensions: 117.3 x 56.8 x 10.5 mm) and it is light in weight too (130 g). Overall I would say that the build quality of the phone is good.
The phone has got got a 3.5 inch AMOLED capacitive Touchscreen of 360 x 640 pixels. The response we got from the screen was very good. It has got a Accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate. So that's a pretty cool thing.
The Sound Quality of the phone is very good. The Phone has got Dual-Speakers on the back. The Sound Quality of the speaker was good. The phone has got a 3.5mm audio jack. The bundled headphones also give out nice sound quality. The Music Player of the phone let's you organize the playlists and it's more easy to play with equalizer settings. The Phone has got Ovi Support. So you can download songs directly from the Ovi Store.
The Phone has got 1GB of ROM and 256 MB of RAM. It has got internal Storage of 8GB. So you can carry a lot of music, videos and applications with you in this phone. Not just 8GB you can expand this upto 32 GB via microSD card Slot.
The 8 MegaPixel is really sharp to take snaps. The camera comes with a dual LED flash. The Clarity of the Still pictures is fabulous. The Camera can also record 720p HD videos at 25 fps. The phone has also got a secondary camera.
As mentioned above the Phone has got Symbian^3 OS. It has got an ARM 11 processor of 680Mhz with 3D accelerator. So this makes the processing very fast.
The Phone has got a GPS Support. It has also got applications like Quickoffice document viewer and Adobe Reader.
The Battery backup of the phone is excellent. It has got a standard Li-Ion battery of 1200 mAh (BL-5K). In the stand by mode the phone can run upto 550 hours and you can talk upto 9 hours continuously. You can play music continuously upto 54 hours. The phone is full of features and works very well.
In India I Think the Official price of the Phone is around Rs.20,000. At this price we recommend this phone for you. But we got this phone for Rs. 16,000. If you get the same price tag for the phone as we got then it's highly recommended for you if you are looking for a smart-touch-phone in this price range. It gives nice competition to HTC Wildfire and Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Mini Pro.
