Just after the launch of Nokia's new business phone i.e Nokia E7, HTC has launched their Touch + QWERTY Phone HTC Desire Z in India. The Price of the phone is Rs.25,590 (MOP).
The phone has got a capacitive touch LCD Screen of 3.7 inches (Super LCD Screen not in India). Despite having a slide-out QWERTY Keyboard, the phone is just 14.2 mm thick! (actually thin). Run's on Android Froyo (v2.2)
Talking about the other main features, the phone has internal storage of 1.5 GB and it's expandable upto 32 GB. A 5 MP camera is present which can record 720p(HD) Videos. A 800Mhz Scorpion processor is there in the phone to boost up it's performance. The phone has FM radio with RDS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n with DLNA support.
Desire Z is having Li-ion battery of 1300 maH. The Standby time of the phone is 430 hours and you can talk upto 10 hours while using 2G. While using 3G this will reduce around 7 hours.
Overall the phone looks good. And it's all set to compete with it's new rival Nokia E7. Let's see what happens.
